PLG 497S/597S Sustainable Development and New Urbanism

This course provides an in-depth look at sustainable development and planning methods such as smart growth, new urbanism, and retrofitting suburbia. Sustainable development and planning public policies, planning initiatives, design strategies and technical solutions will be examined through real-life case studies. This course is appropriate for students specializing in planning, architecture and landscape architecture.
